Lawrence Bishnoi’s cousin claims Salman Khan offered money to Bishnoi community

Ramesh Bishnoi, cousin of Lawrence Bishnoi, recently disclosed that the entire Bishnoi community stands united with the imprisoned gangster in connection to the blackbuck poaching case involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

In a conversation with a media outlet, Ramesh alleged that Salman Khan had previously offered money to the Bishnoi community, but they rejected the offer. Ramesh stated, “His father, Salim Khan, claimed that the Lawrence gang was after money. I want to remind him that his son brought a cheque book before the community and told them to write any amount. If we were after money, we would have taken it back then.”

He further expressed that the poaching of the blackbuck angered every member of the Bishnoi community, but they initially chose to let the court handle the case. However, he noted that Salman’s actions led to growing outrage within the community, which now firmly supports Lawrence Bishnoi in this matter.

For those unfamiliar with the case, Salman Khan was accused of killing a blackbuck, a sacred animal to the Bishnoi community, in the late 1990s. In 2023, Lawrence Bishnoi accused the actor of disrespecting the Bishnoi people by killing the animal.
