Comedian Kiku Sharda has reportedly stepped away from ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ on Netflix, following rumours of a disagreement with fellow cast member Krushna Abhishek.
A social media post recently claimed there had been “visible unrest” within the Kapil Sharma camp, citing a viral video that appeared to show a heated exchange between Sharda and Abhishek. The post further suggested that Sharda had exited the show, fuelling speculation among fans.
However, sources have indicated that Sharda’s departure may be linked to his involvement in a new reality series titled ‘Rise & Fall’, which is set to stream on Amazon MX Player, a direct competitor to Netflix. The show, hosted by Ashneer Grover, explores themes of power, privilege, and strategy in a competitive format.
Despite the buzz, Sharda has yet to issue an official statement regarding his status on the rumours.
