Priya Marathe, known for her roles in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and ‘Kasamh Se’, has sadly passed away at the age of 38. The actress, who had been battling cancer for over two years, died at her residence in Mira Road, Mumbai, at 4:00am on Sunday, 31st August.
Marathe gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Varsha Satish, the sister of Ankita Lokhande’s character Archana, in the popular television drama ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
She also made a brief appearance in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ as Jyoti Malhotra, and featured in several other Hindi and Marathi serials throughout her career.
