R Madhavan has reportedly joined the cast of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
While the filmmakers have yet to officially confirm his casting, the news has already generated immense excitement among fans. This project would mark Madhavan’s first collaboration with the visionary director.
Currently operating under the working title ‘SSMB29;, the film is said to be an African jungle adventure, envisioned as a “pan-world” cinematic spectacle. Reports suggest that Mahesh Babu’s character will be inspired by Lord Hanuman. Filming is expected to continue throughout 2026, with a planned release in 2027.
