Netflix not planning to renew ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’?

Netflix is reportedly set to discontinue ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ due to underwhelming ratings and viewer engagement.

According to a report by Philox, the long-running series has seen a significant decline in viewership, with many users only watching partial episodes. These low engagement levels have made it challenging for Netflix to justify the high production and marketing costs associated with the show.

Sources reveal that the show failed to deliver the expected returns, ultimately rendering it unviable for the streaming giant to continue its run. This marks a notable shift as Netflix reassesses its investments in long-term productions.

Netflix is yet to officially confirm the details.
