Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Detective Sherdil’ is finally set to premiere on ZEE5 after a three-year delay.
Produced by Ali Abbas Zafar, the long-awaited family entertainer will be released exclusively on ZEE5 on 20th June 2025.
The film was completed several years ago, yet for undisclosed reasons, its release was postponed. Directed by debutant Ravi Chhabriya, the project remained in limbo until now.
Zafar shared his excitement on social media, writing, “Sherdil’s detective skills are about to be an ATE/10 
Don’t say we didn’t warn ya 
,” officially kick-starting the long-overdue promotional campaign.
