Amazon CEO Andy Jassy questions budget for ‘Citadel’

The CEO of Amazon, Andy Jassy has reportedly demanded answers on why certain shows are costing as much as they do, including the recently launched ‘Citadel’ featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden.

The spy-series reportedly cost the company around $250 million, with endless delays and marred with average to poor reviews when it was released.

Amazon, which has been cost-cutting, is looking closely at the budgets of its productions, six of which have underperformed in the past nine months.
