After the resounding success of their 2023 heist thriller ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’, actors Sunny Kaushal and Yami Gautam are set to reunite for the film’s much-anticipated sequel, ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2’. This time, the adrenaline-fuelled action shifts from the skies to the sea, with the heist unfolding aboard a luxury cruise.
Directed by Dinesh Vijan and jointly produced with Amar Kaushik, the sequel promises even higher stakes, blending suspense with comic elements in true Bollywood style. The script has reportedly been finalised, and filming is expected to begin by the end of 2025, with the production team planning a marathon shoot in international waters.
Unlike the original, which premiered on Netflix and became one of the platform’s most-streamed Indian titles, ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2’ is being considered for a theatrical release, marking a bold shift for the franchise.
