Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained a muscular injury while filming an intense action sequence for his upcoming movie,‘King’, in Mumbai.
According to various media reports, the actor has been advised a month-long rest, leading to a temporary halt in the film’s production.
Sources suggest the injury occurred at a film studio in the city during a high-octane stunt sequence. While the exact details of the injury have not been officially disclosed, it is described as a muscular strain, not serious, but requiring urgent medical attention.
Following the incident, Khan has reportedly travelled to the United States for treatment and is expected to recuperate there.
The shooting schedule for ‘King’, which was earlier planned during the months of July and August, has now been postponed, with production likely to resume in September or October later this year, depending on the actor’s recovery.
Neither Khan nor his team have issued an official statement regarding the injury at the time of this report.
‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand, is a highly anticipated film of Khan that features an ensemble cast and has generated considerable buzz.
