Telugu sensation Sreeleela is reportedly in talks to replace Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Dostana 2’, as the film undergoes a major casting revamp. The sequel to the 2008 hit is being restructured by Dharma Productions, with a fresh pairing to reignite interest in the long-delayed project.
Last week, Vikrant Massey was confirmed to replace Kartik Aaryan as one of the male leads, joining Lakshya who remains attached to the film. If finalised, this would mark Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut, following her success in Telugu cinema with films like ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’.
Directed by Collin D’Cunha, ‘Dostana 2’ is expected to begin production in early 2026.
