White Hill Studios, the production house behind Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film ‘Sardaar Ji 3′, has confirmed that the film will not be released in India for the time being, citing current diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan.
On Sunday, Dosanjh took to Instagram to unveil the trailer and announce the overseas release date. His caption read, “’Sardaar Ji 3’ Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only / FADH LAO BHOOND DIAN LATTAN.”
The trailer, which features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, has been geo-blocked for Indian viewers on YouTube, displaying the message: “The uploader has not made this video available in your country.”
In an official statement, White Hill Studios said, “The India release will be held back for now. We truly appreciate your love and patience and will be sharing the India release date very soon.”
