The upcoming biographical war film ‘Ikkis’ has officially completed its shooting schedule, as confirmed by producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. The announcement marks a key milestone for the project, which is now slated for a theatrical release in December 2025.
‘Ikkis’ tells the remarkable true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was martyred at the age of just 21 during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. His extraordinary bravery in the Battle of Basantar earned him the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honour for gallantry.
The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan.
