Sunjay Kapur, industrialist and former husband of actress Karisma Kapoor, has passed away at the age of 53.
He reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack while playing polo in London.
Following his separation from Karisma Kapoor, Sunjay later married Priya Sachdev.
Actor and author Suhel Seth confirmed the news, expressing his grief in a post on X, writing, “Deeply saddened at the passing of @sunjaykapur. He passed away earlier today in England—a terrible loss. My deepest condolences to his family and colleagues @sonacomstar … Om Shanti.”
Sunjay’s final post on X was about the tragic Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
