The eagerly anticipated teaser for ‘120 Bahadur’, a stirring war epic, has finally been released.
Led by Farhan Akhtar, the film is inspired by an extraordinary true story of valour and sacrifice. Akhtar set the tone on social media with a poignant line: “Yeh wardi sirf himmat nahin, balidaan bhi maangti hai!” — translated as “This uniform demands not just courage, but sacrifice.”
‘120 Bahadur’ shines a light on the historic Battle of Rezang La, a pivotal yet often overlooked chapter of the 1962 Indo-China war. The narrative centres on the unwavering bravery of 120 Indian soldiers from Charlie Company of the 13 KUMAON regiment, who held their position against a staggering 3,000 enemy troops under the resolute command of “no retreat.”
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, the film is slated for release in cinemas on 21st November 2025.
