Following the unexpected success of ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ in 2006, plans are reportedly underway for a sequel, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’, with Huma Qureshi set to take on a lead role.
According to PinkVilla, the project is slated to go on floors towards the end of the year. Sources close to the development have confirmed that Umesh Bist and his team have finalised a script which builds upon the quirky universe of the original film.
A source revealed, “The script for ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ is locked and the film is currently in the casting phase. The team is aiming for a November start, with a release planned for 2026. As with the first instalment, the sequel is an out-and-out comic entertainer.”
The source further added, “Huma Qureshi has signed on as one of the central characters. She read the script and was thoroughly impressed. The film is expected to be produced by T-Series, with finer details presently being finalised.”
