Deepika Padukone has made history by becoming the first Indian actor to be honoured with a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame.
According to Billboard, Padukone’s name will be enshrined alongside global luminaries such as Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet, Emily Blunt, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Franco Nero, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, all of whom have also been selected to receive stars.
Padukone, who made her Hollywood debut in 2017 opposite Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, has steadily garnered international acclaim. She has previously featured on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People list and in Variety’s International Women’s Impact Report, underscoring her global influence both on and off screen.
