The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has directed the makers of ‘Saiyaara’ to remove approximately ten seconds of intimate content ahead of its scheduled release this Friday.
The filmmakers have been instructed to cut and replace specific visuals described as “sensual, intimate, and involving body exposure” between the lead actors. Additionally, certain words within the dialogue have been censored, though the CBFC has not disclosed which terms must be altered.
Despite the edits, the film has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate. Following the required modifications, ‘Saiyaara’ now has a confirmed final runtime of 156.50 minutes, equivalent to 2 hours, 36 minutes and 50 seconds.
