Maddock Films is said to be venturing into the sci-fi comedy genre with its upcoming project titled ‘Choomantar’, which is expected to feature Ananya Panday alongside ‘Munjya’ star Abhay Verma.
While neither actor has formally signed on, both are reportedly in advanced discussions and are likely to come aboard. The film will be helmed by Tarun Dudeja, best known for his work on ‘Dhak Dhak’.
Sources suggest that pre-production is slated to commence in September, with principal photography targeted for late 2025. If confirmed, ;Choomantar; would mark a fresh and intriguing addition to Maddock’s diverse slate of genre-driven cinema.
