Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed that his son, Abhishek Bachchan, has commenced shooting for the much-anticipated film ‘King’, headlined by Shah Rukh Khan.
The announcement came via Bachchan Sr’s official social media account, where he penned a heartfelt message extending his blessings to Abhishek, affectionately referring to him as “Bhaiyu”.
His post read, “T 5425 – ek chap ke kuch hi dinon mein, release hone waali hai… aur ek aur nayi film ki shuruaat ho gayi hai… pehla din film ‘KING’ ki shooting… My blessings Bhaiyu… love and more 
And one more film shooting is complete and ready and coming soon… my prayers ever.”
The message revealed two key updates: the wrap-up of one of Abhishek’s upcoming projects, and the commencement of filming for ‘King’, marking his first day on set.
