Lyca Radio picks up five nominations at Asian Media Awards 2024

Lyca Radio is celebrating a major achievement after securing five nominations at this year’s prestigious Asian Media Awards. Following its victory as Radio Station of the Year in 2022, Lyca Radio is once again in the running for the coveted title, reaffirming its position as a leading voice in Asian media.

In addition to the station’s nomination, Raj Baddhan, CEO and popular presenter, has been shortlisted for Radio Presenter of the Year, recognising his contributions to the network’s success. Two of Lyca Radio’s flagship shows, Brasco On Breakfast and Radiowalli’s Rollercoaster, have also earned nominations for Best Radio Show. Doni Brasco and Radiowalli, the charismatic hosts of these programmes, have built a loyal listener base with their engaging and dynamic shows.

Adding to the excitement, former Lyca Radio presenter Vallisa has also been nominated for Radio Presenter of the Year for her outstanding work at the London-based station, further highlighting Lyca Radio’s reputation as a breeding ground for top talent in the industry.

The winners will be announced at the Asian Media Awards ceremony, which will take place on Friday 25th October at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. With five major nominations, Lyca Radio is set to make a strong showing at the event, and fans are eagerly awaiting the results.
