Lyca Radio Network has announced its 2026 ‘summer of melas’, confirming three major community events taking place across the UK, with further announcements expected in the coming weeks. The broadcaster continues to strengthen its presence in key regions where it serves local South Asian communities, reinforcing its role as a prominent cultural partner.
The Bradford City Mela will be held on 1 and 2 August at City Park and Centenary Square from 12pm to 8pm. This year’s programme features performances by Mumzy Stranger, Sajara, Joga, Nish, Firstman, Arjun, Shide Boss and Saloni.
The Reading Mela will also take place on 1 and 2 August, at Palmer Park between 12pm and 7pm. Artists scheduled to appear include Veronica, Manak‑E and Milan, among others.
Lyca Radio Network has renewed its partnership with the Leicester Mela, which returns on 15 and 16 August at Abbey Park from 12pm to 7pm. The line‑up includes Lembher Hussainpuri, H Dhami, Roach Killa, Shin DCS, Rameet Sandhu, Chirag Rao and several additional performers.
