Lyca Gold, the UK’s only retro Asian music station, has unveiled a special three-month initiative to celebrate the 102nd birth anniversary of the iconic playback singer Mukesh.
In honour of the legendary artist, whose timeless voice captivated millions across generations, Lyca Gold will broadcast his songs every day for a full 90 days, bringing his unforgettable melodies to listeners across our network.
Mukesh, born Mukesh Chand Mathur in 1923, was renowned for his soulful voice and emotive renditions in classic Hindi cinema. Often regarded as one of India’s greatest playback singers, his contributions to music have left an indelible mark on Bollywood’s golden era.
