Veteran radio broadcaster Anisa Nasir has been named Best Female Radio Presenter at the recently held Pakistani Music and Media Awards in Birmingham.
Nasir, who presents The Big Show on Lyca Gold and Lyca Radio – Greater Manchester, secured the accolade amidst strong competition from fellow presenters across rival stations. With over three decades of experience in the UK Asian radio industry, and having been part of the Lyca Radio Network since 2014, Nasir’s contribution to broadcasting has been widely recognised.
In addition to Nasir’s win, Riz Khan, presenter of the ‘Drive’ show on Lyca Radio – Greater Manchester, was also commended for his dedication to the media sector. This marks Khan’s first major award since Lyca Radio Network acquired the Asian Sound Radio frequencies nearly three years ago.
