ZEE plans to make a biopic on Ratan Tata’s life

Punit Goenka, Managing Director and CEO of ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., has proposed the idea of a biopic on the late Ratan Tata’s life, aiming to honour his legacy.

In a recent statement, ZEE expressed condolences for the passing of Tata, highlighting his contributions as a “beacon of leadership, vision, compassion, and work ethic.” As a tribute to Tata’s impact on India’s economy and his role in uplifting millions, ZEE plans to present his life story to inspire the nation, especially its youth.

The project’s progress will depend on receiving approval from Tata Sons. Profits generated by ZEE Studios from the film will go toward social causes and support for the underprivileged.

Umesh Bansal, Chief Business Officer of ZEE Studios, added that the studio feels honoured to work on a comprehensive documentary or biographical film that reflects Tata’s positive impact. He assured that ZEE Studios will ensure a respectful and accurate portrayal of Tata’s contributions and legacy.
