Senior Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Siddique has tragically passed away after being shot multiple times in Mumbai.
According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 21:30, when six shots were fired at Siddique. Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the attack. The shooting took place while Siddique was visiting his MLA son’s office in Bandra. The crime scene showed the shattered window of his SUV, with glass fragments scattered around.
Following the news of Siddique’s death, members of the film fraternity, including Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Shatrughan Sinha, were among the first to visit Lilavati Hospital.
Salman Khan, who was shooting for ‘Bigg Boss 18’, immediately halted production upon hearing the devastating news. Khan shared a deep friendship with Siddique, having attended his famous Iftar parties over the years. Siddique had played a pivotal role in reuniting Salman with Shah Rukh Khan, ending their well-publicised five-year feud.
